Ward MacDonald is one of the most accomplished and well-rounded young fiddlers on Prince Edward Island. With the fiddling gene present on both sides of his family, Ward’s musical roots run back four generations, including his father, both grandfathers, and his great grandfather.

Ward has played concerts, festivals, and square dances across the Maritimes and other parts of
including Ontario, Quebec, and the Yukon. He's also taught and performed at music and fiddle camps in the United States.

Ward is an emerging composer having had some of his tunes published or recorded by other well-known Maritime musicians.

Ward is thrilled to be teaching at our Charlottetown location this year.

Roy Johnstone who delighted audiences all summer in The College's sell-out production, Highland Storm, the Gael, joins the team as one of the most accomplished fiddle players in Atlantic Canada, with accolades for both his music compositions and his studio production. He is an active recording artist and has 4 solo albums to his credit

Roy says, "My music is a search for our common voice, a voice that speaks to the heart. Whether I am playing a Gaelic air or a jazz standard I bring a deep love and respect for the traditions within each musical genre. For me, music is a call to live passionately, to celebrate tradition while exploring the joy of creating new forms of musical expression."

Roy will be teaching at The College in Summerside
