"I think the grandest thing is to see little boys and girls learning the dances and music of their heritage. In a world as
uncertain as ours, it’s a grand bit of knowledge that this will continue if The College is well funded. When you watch those
kids beaming onstage every summer, you can see an endless line of heritage and have a sense of the continuity of generations.
It’s comforting. Anywhere else you look today, you see the traditions of the past being ignored." - Forrest Baker
The College of Piping and Celtic Performing Arts of Canada relies on individuals who share our deep love for the Celtic arts and
an appreciation for the role of arts in Canadian society. Like most educational institutions, however, revenue from tuition
generates less than 20 percent of our annual operating requirements. Donations and sponsorships, therefore, play a key role in
the overall financial viability of The College of Piping.
When you support The College of Piping, your support extends well beyond our campus! As a leader in festival and event
management, The College plays an integral role within the arts community by providing performance opportunities to hundreds of
emerging and established artists. Only with the support and dedication of people like you, however, can we continue to offer
high-quality educational programming, create dynamic new productions and develop opportunities to further the careers of emerging
Canadian artists.
Gifts may be restricted or directed towards a discipline or a special project. Every gift counts!
Your gift secures a vibrant artistic future for The College of Piping and Celtic Performing Arts of Canada, while providing
immediate or deferred tax benefits for you. To make a donation to The College of Piping (R.C.C 12413 8520 RR 0001), please contact

Endowment Fund
In order to ensure that The College of Piping maintains its high standards and remains at the leading edge of instruction and
program diversity, we need a predictable source of funding outside of tuition and performance revenues. In the short term, The
College of Piping has set a goal of raising $250,000 annually. To reach this goal, we have established an Endowment Fund, in the
hopes that it will become a long-term, secure source of funding. In order to conservatively generate $250,000 in annual interest,
however, the Fund will have to reach $5 million.
Consider making a contribution to the Endowment Fund, perhaps as a tribute gift. Tribute gifts are a great way for you to
celebrate a birthday, anniversary or other special occasion, or to honour the memory of a loved one. When you make a gift, The
College of Piping sends out a card on your behalf and if you wish, we can include your own special message. An official receipt
for income tax purposes will be issued to you, the donor.
