Empowering Generations of Confident Students

For over 25 years, the College of Piping and Celtic Performing Arts has provided a world-class education to students within our community and around the world.

Building on the vision of our late founder Scott MacAulay, the College now enters into a new era of excellence. We have already raised initial funding of $2,700,000 and designed a modern facility that will provide new opportunities for enhanced learning, culture, and community.

The new Performing Arts Education Centre is equipped to facilitate the growing needs of students, faculty, and programming. Each space is carefully designed to invite hard work, inspire dedication and provide opportunity to o er more programming — and to more students — than ever before.

We invite you, our neighbors, to join us in a combined e ort of public, private and corporate partnership to make this project a reality. Let’s work together and empower generations to come. Let’s work together and build the Performing Arts and Education Centre.

Our Dance Company

The College of Piping and Celtic Performing Arts of Canada Dance Company is a wonderful opportunity for both Highland and step dancers over the age of 9, with certain dance experience, to perform in shows, competitions and recitals.

Dancers will have the opportunity to learn a new repertoire of traditional and choreographed dances, improve presentation skills and technique, and learn to work and travel as part of a team. In the interest of developing performance abilities and choreography experience, dancers will be working towards community-level performances, as well as competing in regional pre-premier team competitions.

Dancers must be 9 years old by December 31 and able to cover certain criteria in their specific discipline as set by their instructor. Rehearsals will be held every other Wednesday in Summerside, from 6:30pm until 7:30pm with additional rehearsals to be scheduled before performances and/or competitions.

For more information on the Dance Company, to book the Dance Company for your event, or receive information on our Highland Dance or Step Dance programs, please email Daniel Carr at daniel.carr@collegeofpiping.com.
