Regular programming runs from Monday, September 9, 2024, to June 6, 2025, following the public school academic year and holidays. Students can customize their curriculum based on experience and aspirations, with options for private sessions or group work, attending once or multiple times a week.
All programs are goal-driven, fostering partnerships between students and instructors to achieve excellence.

The Great Highland Bagpipe has been played in Scotland since the 1400s. Over time, its popularity has grown worldwide, with Canada and New Zealand becoming prominent hubs for this craft outside Scotland. Students typically begin their journey on a practice chanter before progressing to the full bagpipe.

For Island Students
Private and group lessons are available in Summerside and Charlottetown. Eligible students may apply for the Doug and Debbie Hall Scholarship, which offers weekly group lessons. Details are in the “Awards and Scholarships” section.
Tuition Rates
- $816 for a 30-minute private lesson per week
- $1,428 for a 1-hour private lesson per week
- $300 for an additional 30-minute lesson per week (recommended for first- and second-year students)
Online Lessons
Lessons are available to students worldwide. A high-speed internet connection and a webcam are required.

The snare drum has origins dating back to medieval times. By the 1800s, drummers and bagpipers began forming bands, which eventually evolved into modern pipe bands. Students typically start with a practice pad and sticks before progressing to the snare drum.

For ages 2–4, this class introduces ballet, jazz, contemporary, and hip hop to help students explore and discover their preferred style.

Intro Acro: Basics of safety, rolls, cartwheels, bridges, and flexibility.

Acro (Skill-Based): Classes are divided by skill level.

Students learn barre, center work, and musicality, focusing on core strength and balance.

Highland Dance is a style of competitive dancing developed in the Scottish Highlands in the 19th and 20th centuries. It is often performed to the accompaniment of bagpipe music. The dancers wear shoes called ghillies. Highland dancing requires technical precision, strength and stamina.
The standard and basic offering for students of Highland Dancing are private and group lessons. These classes are offered weekly from September through June.
The instructor will be in contact regarding classes and scheduling. Tuition will vary depending on class placement.

Canadian Step Dancing involves fast dancing to fiddle music using shoes with metal taps. This style of dance is unique, stemming from European origins. Step dancing often involves relaxed upper body posture compared to older step dance styles.
The standard and basic offering for students of Step Dancing are private and group lessons. These are offered in half hour or hour sessions, depending on the age and experience of the dancer. These classes are offered weekly from September through June.
