“Volunteer” defined. (a) An individual who performs hours of service for a public agency for civic, charitable, or humanitarian reasons, without promise, expectation or receipt of compensation for services rendered, is considered to be a volunteer during such hours.
The Scott MacAulay Performing Arts Centre provides year round entertainment for Island residents and visitors alike. From up and coming acts, to school musicals, community theatre, and well known seasoned performers. The Scott MacAulay Performing Arts Centre is a not-for-profit that relies on the generosity of our volunteers; any and all time volunteering is greatly appreciated.
Volunteer Rewards Program:
- For every show each volunteer is allowed a complimentary water bottle or pop. Along with your choice of chips, chocolate, or popcorn
- For every 10 hours worked, volunteers are rewarded 2 complimentary tickets to a performance.
- Hours are carried forward each year and do not expire.
- You can make a ticket request at any time as long as you have the hours accumulated.
